Testimonials

I use the Picture Coversations with my students. They are so versatile. We discuss them, tell stories about them, answer and ask questions and then have the dialogues. I have seen a big increase in my student's spontaneous language since we began with these cards. I definitely will recommend them to others.

Courtney, NY

The Conversations in pictures is a great way to show my children how to stay on topic. Great idea! Thanks.

Wendy, MO

As an SLP, the Conversations in pictures are perfect for peer conversation. I pair up the children and they take turns asking and answering the questions. Then we practice without the cards. Thank you for a really great item.

Conversations with pictures visually shows how a conversation takes place between two people. Children learn to stay on topic while they converse with adults and peers. The child learns conversation in two stages. They learn how to respond appropriately to questions and they learn to initiate by asking the questions first. The set is very easy to work with. The cards come on a ring and the cards easily flip over. Each card has a question with a picture on the front. As you flip it over, the child is prompted by a picture and the beginning of the answer on the back. Switch it around when children are learning to initiate conversation.

What's in this pack?
There are 6 dialogues in this set. Each dialogue is represented by EIGHT picture cards. This item is easy to use and the picture dialogues are separated by a blue title page, making it quick and easy to flip to a new dialogue. The ring can easily be clipped to a key ring or fit in a pocket book. This helps spontaneous conversations occur throughout the day. This item talks about the things we do when we're out and about. Examples of topics include going for a walk, visiting others, going in the car, having a BBQ, riding a bicycle and more.
