Why do I need this?

This set contains eight pieces of wooden food, a cutting board and a wooden knife. Food makes a fun "CRUNCH" sound when sliced. With 31 pieces, it's also a great way to introduce the concepts of part, whole and fractions!  Teach halves, quarters, thirds and more.  Add the pieces and subtract them for early math skills.  Develop fine motor coordination and finger strength by cutting the food which sticks with Velcro.
